I CRY FOR YOUR ATTENTION!

PLEASE, HOLD MY HAND EVEN FOR A LITTLE WHILE!

A Cry of Negligence can be heard in all the corners of the streets of the earth! It is a plague that has eaten up family relationship and massacred family bonding!
A cry to be held and to embrace could be sensed in the heart of so many lonely children even though they are surrounded by their very own parents, adults, families as well as foes! No wonder our children have become prey to professors of false love, men and women robed with garments of lust! In desperate search to feel beloved and belonged, they have yielded their fragile heart to available arms ready to crush not just their hearts but also their souls. That is why rape has filled the streets of our fathers land! Why we have bleeding hearts seeking for vengeance even from the innocent!
It all emanated from a deep hunger for attention! A silent cry for love ! A desperate desire to touch and be touched by the ones through whom they came into the world !
Dear parents, can you keep the phone for a few hour? Kindly off the television for few minutes. I hear the cry of your innocent children crying and reaching out to you  "Just leave your phone pad for some time and hold my hands".

"kindly lift your eyes from those screen and fix them on mine".

Oh, how I wish many parents can raise their antennas to pick signals from their young children. Let us awaken to this demand to salvage the current needs of our children in this generation. Was this how we grew up enjoying a satisfactory childhood? When we use iPad and cartoon Network to bribe our children. Where the children are left to grow by themselves and discover themselves without proper guideline. Fall into emotional entanglement before they even understand or differentiate between lust and love.
The scenario that played before me yesterday made me take a deep thought and cry for our generation! A mother brought her children to the clinic but was engrossed with her phone. I understand she may be into on line marketing. The children were all over the place jumping around irrespective of the environment as a hospital with corona pandemic claiming lives. Then, her phone battery shut down. Immediately she expressed disappointment and seeking for how to power her battery, the children shouted in desperate excitement and pleading for her to give them some of her time to play with them. I was watching keenly to the pathetic display of affectionless relationship between a mother and her children as the mother shouted them down. The eldest son was like" you see? She is always like this, ever on her phone." Chai! Prior to this, I have heard that the boy always complain and report her to his Doctor on how she is ever engrossed on her phone and never take out time for him and his siblings. This is juvenile delinquency in view because I can't even tell you what the boy does whenever he is around.
This is just a sampling of many scenarios happening in different homes and cities of the world. For me, it should be a global concern because if not given attention now, corrected or curtailed , we will have Crime sweeping off the next generation and the ones yet unborn. We will helplessly see our children slip off our grip without solution at hand. We can spend all the money in feeding and taking them to the highest height of education, but loose that connection that only family bonding can afford! Everyone should take responsibility now! Say No to your screen taking the space and time that belongs to your children! Keep the phone and save the destiny of your children! They deserve your time and attention more than those gadgets! More than your job and business!
Family is the incubating site to nurture, groom and inculcate value when the children are still as tubular rasa ! Create all the values in them now that their mind is still pure,blank and undefiled ! Do it  now that you still have the time with them before the world gives them the wrong value! The world is smart but you can be smarter! Let's catch them young!
